My first long term adventure came a few years ago on a gap-year trip before university which took me on an organised bus tour from London to Sydney overland (plus a few boats and 2 plane rides, yep it still feels like I cheated!) followed by time in New Zealand. One uni summer holiday was spent in China, learning Mandarin at Heilongjiang University. Another summer I backpacked in parts of Eastern Europe, discovering countries I hadn’t had the chance to visit on my shorter trips throughout Europe. On graduation I moved to Seville for 6 months, brushed up on my Spanish, ready for my travels in South America last year. I’m now back in Australia, a little older, a little wiser, and eager to explore.
If you want to hear about the places I’ve visited, where I’ve stayed, what I’ve eaten or anything else I feel like writing about then please follow my blog and join my journey of making everyday an adventure!
